I don't really have much to update you all on. Same old, same old. Get up, drive kids to school, run errands with cranky Julia, drive home, clean, and go back and get kids, hear them bicker the whole way home, come home and have them fight and Julia scream, and the dog bark. Organize kid chores, homework, dinner, hear Julia whine some more, put PJ's on, put kids to bed, hear Julia scream and slam doors, finally hear silence--check on her to find she has stripped and since it is cold and she still wears a diaper to bed, redressing her, and putting on a diaper, and waking her up---to have her scream some more. Then yell at Joshua for banging his feet against the wall, yell at Lauren for getting out of bed, try to hang with husband without being a total B**TH because I have been hearing kid noise all day and kind of want to be alone...... then to bed, to be woken up 1-3 times a night by the ever-screaming Julia... Then up at 6am to do it again.
Ok, that exhausted me.
I need a nap :-)
On a good note, my husband is taking me on a surprise trip soon---all planned by himself. And, we just booked an impromptu trip to Vegas too! Busy travelers we will be! Luckily I have awesome family who will babysit for us so we can do such things----------kind of hard to take care of "us" when we have such young/busy kids, ya know? It is time we did.
Oh, and I don't want to rush Julia's growing up, but this 2.5-3.5 age is R E A L L Y wearing me down. On a positive note, I just got her 3 year old pics done, and she is SOOO big. She cracked me up with her posing and being so sweet about getting her pics taken. Gives me hope, because she used to be so uncooperative. (Sorry for pic quality, it is a pic of the pic. I will replace when I scan them :-))
